5. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Amazon Selling Partner Data
BSR Commerce LLC integrates with the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) to access and process data from Amazon Seller Central accounts of clients who have explicitly authorized BSR Commerce to do so. This section describes how we handle that data.
Data we access via SP-API:
- Order data (order IDs, purchase dates, order totals, status)
- FBA inventory data (SKUs, ASINs, fulfillable and inbound quantities)
- Financial events and fee data (referral fees, FBA fees, shipment events)
- Selling partner account and performance information
How we use this data: Amazon selling partner data is accessed solely to provide contracted account management services to the authorizing client. We display this data in a private, password-protected internal dashboard accessible only to BSR Commerce staff and the client whose data it is. We do not use Amazon selling partner data for any purpose other than providing services directly to the authorizing seller.
Data storage and security: Amazon selling partner data is stored in a secured database hosted in the United States. Access is restricted to BSR Commerce employees and contractors who require it to perform services. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls.
Data sharing: We do not sell, license, or share Amazon selling partner data with any third party, and we do not use it for our own commercial purposes, advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data retention:Amazon selling partner data is retained for the duration of the client relationship plus up to 12 months thereafter. Upon request or termination of the service agreement, we will delete a client's Amazon data within 30 days.
Authorization:Access to Amazon selling partner data is obtained only after explicit authorization by the selling partner through Amazon's OAuth authorization flow. Sellers may revoke authorization at any time through their Amazon Seller Central account.
BSR Commerce's use of Amazon selling partner data complies with the Amazon Selling Partner API Developer Agreement and Amazon's data protection policies.
